Sarah Kasabian-Larson
Sarah qualified for the state cross country meet her sophomore year in high school and the state track and field meet sophomore, junior and senior years while at East Peoria (Illinois). A four year runner on the team, Sarah was captain of the track and cross country teams. After graduating in 2000, Sarah went to University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where she was captain for both sports. Since graduating from college, Sarah has run 15 marathons, including Boston five times. She also has won five marathons. After having children, Sarah’s times dropped even more and has set most of her PR’s in the past few years. Her goal is to break 3:00 in her spring marathon as well as running some PR’s in some shorter distances. Sarah keeps herself busy with her family and chasing her two sons around on a daily basis as well as working at Alma College as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Her PR’s are 5:04 in a road mile, 10:18 in the 3k, 17:50 in the 5k, 1:22 in the half marathon, and 3:00:19 in the marathon.
