At Albion High School, Allison ran four years of indoor and outdoor track, three years of cross country and swam one year.  In her senior year, Alli was named captain of the cross country and track team.  After graduating from Albion High School in 1999, Alli went to Central Michigan University where she graduated in 2004.  Alli is a kindergarten teacher in Alma and has been teaching in the district for thirteen years.  Alli resumed running after her oldest of three sons was born in 2008 and has raced distances on the roads from 5k to marathons as well as triathlons.  Her goals include qualifying for the Boston Marathon and lowering her 5k time to under 20:00.  Her personal bests include 5k of 20:40; half-marathon of 1:37:43 and marathon of 4:19.
