At Battle Creek Harper Creek, Danielle was a four year competitor in track and cross country.  She ran 21:48 her sophomore year in cross country and 14:35 in the 3200m run.  After graduating from Harper Creek in 2012, Danielle competed at Olivet College for four years in both sports.  She won most improved runner during cross country and track as she steadily improved each year focusing on the 3000m and 5000m race distances on the track.  Danielle’s 5k time on the track improved over a minute her senior year to 19:57.  On the cross country course, Danielle improved her 6km time by over three minutes finishing her senior year with a time of 25:16 in cross country.  During college, Danielle also ran a few half marathons and ran a PR of 1:44 in 2015.  Danielle is planning on attending law school in the fall and her goal is to continue to enjoy running, improve her times and run a marathon!
