While at Clarkston High School, Inch competed in cross country, swimming, and track and field.  Before graduating in 2006, he ran a personal best time of 16:47 in cross country.  While at Michigan State University, Inch was a member of the MSU Triathlon Club.  In 2009, he finished 10th overall at nationals and was named the Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference Man of the Year.  Inch was a six time USA Triathlon age group All American.  Inch plans to focus on his running and see what he can accomplish when he can devote most of his training to only his running.
