Miros Highlights the Weekend with BQ Mark

Alex Miros completed his second marathon and came away with a Boston Marathon qualifying time as well as a 30 minute personal best time!  Miros’ time of 2:58:57 earned him a fourth place finish overall finish and an age group victory.  His half marathon split was 1:26:04, which was just two minutes off his half marathon time a few weeks ago at the Dexter Ann Arbor race.  Matt Lutzke won Max’s Race in East Lansing today cruising in with a time of 16:38.  Lutzke won by over 20 seconds.  Nick Ekel made his official RCRC debut with a win at the Hanging Rock 5k Challenge in Redfield, Iowa.  His time of 17:39 was a nice start to his return to racing on a tough course.  Congratulations to all competitors today!
