November 26, 2015 – RCRC was well represented at the 15th Annual Lansing Turkey Trot. Out of the 4500 registered runners, Matt Lutzke led the team with his 5th place finish of 15:27. He was followed closely behind by Greg Lutzke in 7th (15:32) and Andrew Benkovsky in 9th (15:41). All three were with the chase pack going through the mile at about 5:00 pace and the two mile just under 10:00. New team members Dominick Reed finished 21st with a time of 16:24, while Ashley Hamilton progressively ran faster each mile and finished 7th among the ladies running 18:44. Mitch Lutzke ran a time of 26:46 and Donna Benkovsky finished in 31:17. Congratulations to all participants!
November 27, 2015 – RCRC team members Tom Windle, Alex Pollack and Kristin Kotarba competed at the Howell Fantasy of the Lights 5k with over 800 other runners. Windle led the group with his 6th place finishing time of 16:06. Running a road race personal best, Pollack finished closely behind in 8th place with a time of 16:25. Kotarba was back in action after some time off running and finished 5th in her age group with a time of 28:44. Congratulations to all runners and walkers!
