Nick ran cross country and track for four years while at Plymouth High School, played hockey for two years and was on the swim team.  His junior year, Nick competed at the Michigan state cross country meet.  While in high school, during the track season, Nick ran 2:04, 4:38, and 17:06.  After graduating from high school in 2012, Nick ran one year at University of Michigan Dearborn and then two years at Saginaw Valley State University and posted personal best times of 9:04 (3k), 15:50 (5k) and 26:40 (8k cross country).  Nick has been turning his focus from the 5k to 10k race distances and recently decided to focus on marathons and ultra marathons and will continue to do so while competing for RCRC.  He will graduate in May of 2017 from SVSU with a degree in exercise science.
