January 29-30, 2016 –On January 29, Andrew Mangiapane made his first appearance on the indoor track running three different events at Trine University. He competed in the mile and 800m and then ran the 3km, where he won the race with a time of 9:23.37. The following day, a group of RCRC runners competed at SVSU in the Jets Pizza Invitational. Tom Windle ran a lifetime best in the mile, finishing in 4:22.04. Andrew Benkovsky also competed and ran 4:30.72. In the 3km, Dom Reed and Alex Pollack both had strong finishes and ran 9:08.48 and 9:24.84 respectively. The four then competed in the 4 x 400 relay for a workout and each ran strong legs. The newest RCRC member, Matt Inch made his debut running in Dallas on January 30 in a 5km road race running just under 16:00. Great performances by everyone this weekend!
