Kristin Kotarba

 

     An all conference performer at Williamston High School in basketball and track and field, Kristin signed a scholarship to play hoop at Spring Arbor College in Michigan, where she played for three years. Primarily a shot put and discus thrower, Kristin was a four time league champion, three time regional champion and a three time state throws qualifier. Her entrance to distance running came as a student assistant coach with the Williamston middle school cross country program as a senior for the Hornets, in order to get in shape for the high school basketball season. She has been a participant in the Cross-Fit program over the past few years. She has previous PRs of 23:25 in the 5k and 2:02 in the half-marathon.
